Hey guys,

Just letting you all know ahead of time that I'll be off for a while. My eyes have been hurting lately (super sensitive for some reason) plus I got a high fever yesterday. Thankfully my head and back are feeling much better, but my stomach is still doing flips and twirls and.... icky stuff; think of it like you get those uber big cramps and have it cover your entire stomach. I should feel fine by tomorrow but just in case (plus I took two days off, so I should really get my work done beforehand).

Besides that, how's everyone doing?

HEY EVERYONE!!

So are you ready for the big surprise? I know I am, and I can't wait to reveal it to you all. To keep the holiday spirit, I'll be revealing my surprise close to midnight (not sooner since I have to take care of the trick-or-treaters; would go myself, but neighborhood's filled with parents that will glare at me if I "steal" candy from any of their kids).

Just made changes to two things: my dA ID and my avatar. I've had the same picture as my avatar for years now, and I thought it was time for a change. As for my dA ID, I've been meaning to make one, but always pushed it aside. Figured even though I don't have photoshop to make it look super spiffy doesn't mean I should keep it empty. Sadly, Paint butchers pictures when it comes to saving on JPEG, but oh well. Enjoy guys!

Hey Everyone!!

I know - it's been forever since I last posted you guys. For those who've been posting art and what-have-ya, you know I'm still around just cause I get the occasional chance to comment back.

Anywho - what have I been up to lately? It's a secret, but I can tell you I've been working extremely hard to give you guys all sorts of crazy artwork. My art style's changed so much since the last time I posted so I hope you're all excited. I'm hoping to get this secret project done soon. Don't worry, it'll definitely be in time for Halloween (trust me - I'm using it for school as well, so it's due that date). So you most likely won't be seeing any art until this project is finished.

So ending on that note, how has everybody been?

Hey everyone!

I'd like to take this time to thank everyone who has watched me, both new and oldies. However, I've never been able to tell whether you watch me because of my artwork or for my critiques. So! As of starting today, I will no longer be giving critiques. If any, they will be short and to the point as most are done these days. After critiquing so many artworks and watching the progress (while learning myself), I've learned that it's best for the artist to critique their own works. Although I can point out every little detail as to where you can improve, it's better for the actual artist to find their own errors and fix them. Learn to focus on what you need to improve on, continue to experiment, and think outside the box. I'm glad that my critiques have helped some of you improve and become more inspired as aspiring artists. It's been a great journey with you all, and I hope you continue.

What I plan to do from here on out is focus on my own work. I've had the great pleasure of watching you all improve, but I, too, need to practice and study so that I can improve as well. With the new portfolio program up and the huge project I've been working on since the beginning of summer, it helped me realize that I need to focus more on improving myself. As of today, I still don't consider my work sell-worthy.

As an ending point, I decided to not hold the contest mainly because it would become too much work for me. What's more, I don't have that many watchers so it wouldn't be as interesting to see the results.

Hey everyone!

So you're probably wondering why I titled this journal like that, right? It's only because I drew Pokemon while in class today, so I thought I'd show my current status. Got very little sleep last night (approx. 3 hrs.) after doing work, but I don't feel very tired. I just feel like not moving/thinking a lot. So before continuing my work that's due tomorrow, I thought I'd take a break and post this.

The next few days are going to be extremely crazy for me, so don't expect a lot of pictures or comments. There are seven days left of this so please be patient. Thankfully, once it's done, it's done - if I pass.

Website's coming along - just need to make a few more adjustments and fix some of the html. As for art, drew loads of pictures, but will not post because they're incomplete.
